Spring Creek
The air is crisp and the sun is coming up over the ridge.
Students are gathering for their first class of the day. From my years
as a  YMCA Youth Activity Leader through my days as a Senior Staff at a
residential treatment center, I
dreamed about this scene as a Director helping lost youth find their
path. In 1997 my brother Chaffin and I took my dream and with the help
of a group of dedicated employees, created a safe haven for change in
the mountains of Montana. We call this haven Spring Creek
and choose the Wolf as the symbol of our purpose. As we strive to embody
our motto, Leaders of the Pack, we encourage our students to do the
same. Everyone at our school strives to inspire the values of
 integrity, accountability, family, trust, and love in every person that
chooses to follow this path. As I look out my window into the eyes of
our students, I see their potential greatness yearning to be released.
The school at Spring Creek is a special-purpose academic program offering both character
building and quality education.
These programs utilize a powerful, impacting intervention system in combination with a structured daily schedule.
Spring
Creek is a boarding school for students who have
struggled in the traditional school setting and need a specialized
curriculum and a highly structured learning environment where
distractions are minimized,  motivation is fostered, and discipline is
emphasized. The School also provides ongoing Character and Skill
Building Courses designed to assist the students in achieving maximum
academic success.
Spring Creek provides seminars and workshops, daily character building
courses, parent support services, and academic curriculum.
Further, SCLA provides cultural enrichment for its students by inviting
area experts to share their expertise with students and staff, by
sending students to the University of Montana’s Foreign Language Days,
and by celebrating other culture’s holidays such as Cinco De Mayo.
